Hi again!
Thanks so much for coming back for entry #2. For those who didn’t read blog #1 (like, why not? I poured my heart and soul into that!) I’m Amy – I’m a super busy mum of 3 trying to side hustle my way to being mortgage free with absolutely no clue what I’m doing and I’m taking you with me!
Where I’m At:
OK so I had lined out a few things that I was going to try or had been trying recently to get the ball rolling with this. I thought I’d just give a quick update on where I am with those just now and I can do a deer dive on them later as we progress :
- Digital Marketing – I still don’t know what this is
- Affiliate Marketing – I almost have an idea what this might be but I haven’t done a lot of research to get going on this one
- Training AI – I’ve tried 2 sites for this. I took a ridiculously long assessment on one and never heard back from them (assume I failed) and the other one I have done a couple of assessments to get into specific projects but I haven’t done any paid work yet. I’m nearing the end of the onboarding for the latest project and I’m hoping to get onto some paid work for it in the next couple of days!
- Surveys- I signed up for a couple of sites and did a few surveys but they didn’t seem to register on the account so I never got paid for them. Putting this as the bottom of the list as I can’t be bothered with them for now.
- Website Testing – not got to this one yet
- Vinted – always just clearing out clothes the kids have grown out of on here. We did a big declutter recently and our final baby is growing so fast so I always have loads to sell! Some of it isn’t moving though and I’m just about to send a load to the charity shop rather than have it clutter up the house any longer
- Cash back – I’m slowing getting going with this one! There is an app I use when I do the food shopping that gives you cash back for paying with a gift card and another site that gives you cash back for signing up for free trials etc – I haven’t had any actual cash back from this site yet but it’s reviews are good and once I get going properly it should come through!
- Transcription – I’d love to do this but I haven’t managed to research it yet!
- Random jobs on Fiverr and Upwork – not started on here yet. Happy to do some admin/typing/proof reading or other work on here but I haven’t got started yet!
- Instagram and TikTok- so I have started a page, which is probably what brought you here!
- Matched Betting – disaster! Wimped up at how much I had to put into the bet so lost 7p.
